
Just the tiniest physical adjustment can make all the difference to a stretch.
For me, it’s all about having some fun with my poses! I love to experiment by moving in a pose, to see how changing the direction can make those muscles feel a deeper stretch.
Next up, I really try to relax into the pose. Deep breaths are the key; they’re like a gentle nudge for my muscles to let go and stretch even further.
And the final touch is focus .. simply focus on the sensations in your body, and nothing more, try and switch off from everything else other than the stretch, and with this focus comes a lovely calmness to the body and mind.
